Terms & Conditions
A minimum of 4 passengers for tour to proceed.
All tours are escorted by an experienced host.
Proof of age may be requested at the discretion of wineries.
Tours will leave according to times stated on itineraries and will not wait for "latecomers".
We accept no responsibility for passengers failing to be at designated pick up points at designated times.
No refund is provided for passengers failing to meet our tour at designated times.
No responsibility is taken for passengers leaving pick up locations if our vehicles are not present at the scheduled departure time.
We accept no responsibility for passengers missing our tour if pick up location is changed and we are not advised.
We accept no responsibility for lost or stolen property.
We reserve the right to alter any part of the itinerary without notice.
We reserve the right to use alternate vehicles and operators.
Passengers must pay for tours prior to embarkation.
Individuals are responsible for any damage inflicted on our vehicles or at wineries.
We reserve the right to alter the itinerary and use other tour providers if necessary. We accept no responsibility or liability for damage, loss, injury, delays or other problems whatsoever resulting directly or indirectly on a Watson The Grapevine tour.
Tours are subject to availability.
Whilst travelling on board our vehicle and in the cellar doors, there is to be no consumption of own food, alcohol, or smoking of cigars/cigarettes. Any damage incurred to the vehicle by patrons will be paid in full by them within seven (7) days including a cleaning fee of no less than $100. Seat belts must be worn at all times.
Watson The Grapevine or the wineries will not accept intoxicated behaviour. Federal, State and Local Council drinking laws apply. There is no drinking of alcohol on our mini buses or coaches. Drinking alcohol on board our vehicles does not comply with local laws or our Public Liability Insurance. Customers caught drinking alcohol on board our buses will have the alcohol removed. Unopened alcohol will of course be allowed on the bus and must be kept in a secure spot at all times.
Watson The Grapevine encourages responsible drinking, and if it is felt in the opinion of the driver, that the comfort & safety of passengers is being compromised, the offending party shall no longer participate on the tour. They will be dropped off at a safe location and Watson The Grapevine will arrange a taxi, and at the clients own personal cost, make their own way back to their accommodation.
Hens and Bucks:
Whilst we want all of our tour participants to have a fun and exciting day, no hens or bucks rude attire or paraphernalia is accepted at the wineries.
Smart casual dress only.
Tour variations and cancellations may occur due to extreme weather conditions, vineyard closures, last minute changes received from vineyards or traffic disruptions. If any of these circumstances should arise, Watson The Grapevine will revise the itinerary to impact as little as possible on the remainder of the tour.
If the tour is cancelled completely, Watson The Grapevine will try to re-book the clients for a date convenient to both parties, or refund monies in full.
For all bookings made with Watson The Grapevine the following penalties apply:
For all cancellations 20% admin fee will be charged on total tour amount.
For cancellations with less than 14 days to 0 hours notice or "no show" 100% cancellation penalty applies on total tour amount.
All tour numbers must be confirmed 14 days prior to event date.
For any person unable to attend tour these penalties apply :
Cancellation of person/persons within time of booking to 21 days to 15 days before event is 100% refund per person.
For persons unable to attend 14 days or less to event NO REFUND will be given and 100% cost per person is charged.
Due to Government Restrictions with Covid-19 all bookings are subject to the same Cancellation Penalties as per our
Tour Terms & Conditions.
The following being the only exception to these terms:
* Government restrictions are put in place to re-apply the Non Essential Business stand down.
The following will happen:
All monies paid are refunded 100% for any booking made between June 1 to August 31st that has been directed
only by Victorian State Government.
It is anticipated that easing of restrictions will come into affect form 1st September.
All wineries, breweries, cideries & distilleries will be available to book and will be at their discretion if they are unable to facillitate any tastings or serving of food during this period and or has had to close for any unforseeable reason .
An alternative venue will be sought and if deemed prudent the tour will need to be rescheduled or cancelled should venues be unavailable on the selected tour date.
The customer will be given the option of either refund 100% or reschedule another date.
No refund shall be given :
NB: If attendees decide to cancel entire booking with the concern of Covid-19 being an issue 14-0 days prior to event date the cancellation policy is then implemented as per above.
Bad Weather and Bushfire Risk Policy:
Watson The Grapevine does not accept cancellations in instances of bad weather.
Due to the Mornington Peninsula region being a high fire risk area, any days deemed by the operator to be unfit for a tour due to high fire risks will be cancelled and money refunded or re-scheduled.
20% Deposit due receipt of invoice to confirm booking. No venues will be booked until payment is received.
Full payment is also required at time of booking if tour is scheduled within 14 days from booking date.
Bank Account direct credit via which will be supplied at time of confirmation of booking.
Group bookings must be paid in full at least 1 month prior to tour date.
Payment is required in full prior to the tour commencing.
A reminder may be sent to main organiser that has booked tour if payment is not made within the required time frame.
We may take photos and use other recording devices and use these photos on our private and public websites and advertising materials such as Facebook, Instagram and on www.watsonthegrapevine.com.au, if you do not wish to have your photo shared please let the tour guide know at the beginning of the tour.
Collection of Data & Use:
When contacting Watson The Grapevine through a web form you may be asked to provide contact details including Name, Email Address and Phone Number.
As on many web sites, the site editor may also automatically receive general information that is contained in server log files, such as your IP address, and cookie information.
Watson The Grapevine does not sell your data and will make every effort to prevent your data being made available to third parties without your consent, unless
Your consent is obtained, such as when you choose to opt-in or opt-out for the sharing of data;
A service provided on our site requires interaction with a third party, or is provided by a third party, such as an application service provider;
Pursuant to legal action or law enforcement;
This site is purchased by a third party, in which case that third party will be able to use the data in the same manner as set forth in this policy. In the event you choose to use links displayed on this web site to visit other web sites, you are advised to read the privacy policies published on those sites.
